CCTV Drainage Surveys

A CCTV Survey is the most efficient and cost-effective way to inspect drains and sewers without having to excavate the pipes. We undertake our survey using the latest state of the art technologies. Our Surveying Engineers are highly trained in the remote controlled, specialist camera systems and software to carry out a CCTV drain survey. A CCTV Survey is a highly effective investigative drainage survey carried out using either pushrod or operator-controlled crawler units to survey the internal condition of a below ground drainage pipe. Our CCTV surveys can be undertaken pre, post or during construction activities, and can also be useful for insurance purposes.

Our Engineers can assess the structural condition and integrity of the drain or sewer without causing any disruption to properties and the environment. Our systems range from pushrod right through to mainline crawler units with pan and tilt capabilities, enabling full drainage surveys including lateral connection surveys. Following the Engineers work onsite a technical report and plan will be created by our highly skilled Processing department which will be able to show you the condition of the sewer and in addition a DVD of the footage is also provided. All survey work will be undertaken in accordance with the Manual of Sewer Condition Classification, Manhole Location Surveys.

All recorded images are assessed by our surveyors to identify structural defects as well as blockages or other factors leading to poor performance of the drainage system along with copies of the coded report including still images of the faults, clearly detailing the structural condition of the pipeline to industry standards. Surveys can be undertaken on all pipe sizes from 100mm pipes to main sewers and culverts.
