A Building Monitoring Survey measures small movements within a structure or building or land movements either where a movement issue has already been identified or to monitor buildings and structures prior to construction projects.

Repeat survey visits are made to take readings and compare to previous results at any intervals required.

Monitoring surveys are set to suit your project and will be tailored to give you cost effective results. We will provide a comprehensive proposal outlining the survey equipment set up and survey program, specifying the number of site visits along with a breakdown of our competitive fees. The survey equipment we use is dependent on the site and location and can range from high spec total stations, precise levels or 3D laser scanning down to small measuring tools e.g retros / Tell tales or Monitoring Discs dependant on the size and type of the site.

We can provide you with a plan of the site indicating the location with full photographic evidence of all the monitoring points along with a spreadsheet indicating the measurements and movement changes (if any). A detailed written report can also be provided dependant on the level of detail required.
