Total Surveying Solutions Limited have exceptional levels of expertise within undertaking Underground Utility and GPR Surveys. We undertake surveys to a diverse clientele including Architects, Contractors, Local authorities over many years have led to a robust system that can easily identify the most appropriate service for each client whether meeting the PAS 128 standard or specialised surveys tailored to clients’ personal requirements.

Our Utility Surveyors / Technicians use the latest Electromagnetic Location (EML) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology which, when paired with our extensive expertise, can detect subsurface utilities with exceptional accuracy. These methods of detection together with visual methods, e.g. manhole/inspection chamber investigation, enable us to provide an on-site mark-up on the ground or use the recorded findings to produce a detailed drawing complete with depths of utility. We also incorporate any additional asset information/local knowledge to provide the most comprehensive utility mapping survey available to PAS128 (D).

We adhere to the BSI PAS 128 standard for utility detection surveys which helps clients decide what type and depth of survey they require as well as serving as a guideline for the mapping technicians.
